AG, you were the first place I looked on Twitter after the WaPo notification hit my phone. I'm so grateful to have found you and the community you've created. Stormy wore a bulletproof vest to come testify. The jury was anonymized due to threats from this mobster/conman. Despite it all, HOT DAMN ya'll! Accountability feels so good! What a glorious day for Democracy.
Violent threats from the right make it that much more important to me to see people of their like held accountable for lawbreaking, to send the message that the rule of law will not bend to their threats.
AG, you said it once yourself. We think we're alone, isolated, the only one in the crowd...and then, often by chance, we find the others. The people that know what it's like, who can understand and empathize and support. It takes so much courage to reach out, but we are all glad you did.
Thanks for all you do AG! It was only about, what, 8 hours of deliberation (if that)? I'd say that speaks volumes about how thorough the prosecution was in presenting their case, and how slip-shod the defense was in trying to refute their claims. One down, three more to go!
