GUILTY
Donald Trump has been found guilty on all 34 felony counts in the Manhattan election interference trial
HELLLLOOOOOO!
It’s been a long time coming, friends, but today - a jury of his peers found the former president guilty on all 34 felony falsification of business records counts! And I just wanted to take this moment to thank everyone who followed my coverage of this since 2018 - the early days of the Mueller, She Wrote podcast.
It’s funny. Last night I was watching an episode of House MD, in which House’s colleagues found a book in his office written by House’s long-since-dead biological father. But it was a book of sermons, and House is an outspoken and staunch atheist. His colleagues spent most of the episode trying to figure out why he was reading the book: was it given to him by his therapist? Did he find god? Did he want to get to know his father ten years after his death?
No.
House’s friend Wilson nailed it. He explained that most people live inside the Bell Curve, but House decidedly resides outside the bounds. House got a copy of the book in an effort to see if buried somewhere in the word of god, he would find elements of a mind like his own.
For a large part of my life, I felt alone. But since covering these issues, the community that has emerged is packed with people who understand and think like one another. How lucky are we that we’ve been able to find each other in this chaos?
So thanks to everyone for sticking with me through the highs and the lows.
We’re just getting started.
Thank you for being a journalist we can trust. Thank you.
GUILTY AF! That's news, with swearing! Thank a million for all you do!
