If I were the court, I would say (1) I am not scheduling this case with an eye to electoral politics, but (2) since the defendant is worried about the unfairness of having the SC’s motion in front of the electorate without the defendant’s response, I am denying the defendant’s motion to postpone his response. File it and let the electorate see what you have to say.

All his excuses will be of naught, and all those that now fear him will turn upon him with a fury he never heretofore experienced. It may take a while for the fury to develop, fear is hard to shake; therefore, it may be slow to fully develop. In end, though, it will consume him utterly.
Chutkan will not grant the delay. She’ll stay agnostic on the « election interference » issue; for her, answering criminal charges via litigation takes precedence.

Perhaps the SC and Court need to find out from Trump who the enemy from within is. Does it include them? He continues to predict more violence .
