Donate to Fund Federal Workers' Legal Fees
I've launched a non-profit legal defense and resource fund to protect our federal workers and hold government officials accountable for violating their rights
I’m SO EXCITED to announce my new venture - FedOath! We are raising funds to help support and defend our federal workers who are being politically targeted by the Trump administration. You can become a supporting member here.
As you know, after a brief career in the Navy, President Obama called us to service in 2008 and I heeded that call by applying to work for the Department of Veterans Affairs. I quit my lucrative corporate auditing job to take a position at my local VA Outpatient Clinic as a GS-5 file clerk.
After over a decade of service, I had become the VA TRICARE Liaison to the Department of Defense for the West Region. While serving in that position during Trump’s first term in office, I was targeted, investigated, and wrongfully terminated. I have spent the past six years fighting the politically motivated personnel actions taken against me, and now I want to help other federal workers do the same.
Legal advise and court filings cost money. That’s where you come in. By becoming a patron, you’ll be supporting our efforts to throw paper at this administration and defend our federal workers against these illegal and vicious attacks. In return, I’ll post a weekly podcast just for members, giving detailed updates on the concrete steps FedOath is taking to protect our civil servants.
I do hope you’ll consider pledging. It may seem small given everything that’s happening, but it’s focused opposition - and focused opposition is the most effective kind. Plus, we’ve applied for non-profit status so your donations could be tax deductible.
We’re partnering with some of the coolest people! Kel McClanahan and National Security Counselors - that’s the lawyer that filed suit on behalf of the two OPM workers that have had their privacy compromised by the actions of Elon Musk and Donald Trump. Mark Zaid - he’s represented many of my friends including Olivia Troye and Capitol Police Officer Harry Dunn. Whistleblower Aid - representing federal workers in cases involving classified information, including whistleblowing, administrative investigations, criminal prosecutions, and security clearance disputes. And of course, my co-founders: Ethan Bearman - who has represented me these past years in my wrongful termination case, and Scott Koenig - Navy Veteran and former State Department and Pentagon employee.
Together we’ll use the Fed Oath funds to advise, file lawsuits, and provide resources for federal workers. How many we can help is only limited by the funds we can raise, so pitch in today if you’re able, and thank you from the bottom of my civil service heart!
Here’s the link one more time: FedOath Please share it with your networks!

I heard that Popok has started a legal firm that will help anyone affected by this coup—only pay a fee if or when there is a win..check out with Michael Popok. Maybe you could also arm people with a phone number—nationwide legal people signed up to help.
I can't help much, but the fund will get a little something from me every month. It needs to happen.
