I woke up pretty early on day four to grab my credentials, and then headed over to the United Center to appear on the Steph Miller Show on Sirius XM Progress with the amazing Charlotte Clymer and JoJo from Jerz. We had a FANTASTIC discussion about democracy and the DNC!
Then I had to head over to the Gwen Walz Women for Harris Brunch, where I ran into Joe Walsh, Steph Miller, Jen Rubin, Victor Shi, and a couple hundred of the most influential women and creators. It was truly amazing.
Then it was time to make our way back to the United Center. Day Four was gonna be PACKED and we wanted to get seats. I ran into a few more friends, including Leigh McGowan (Politics Girl) and of course, the incredible Dana Goldberg - co-host of The Daily Beans. We hit the floor of the United Center and got to watch Pink rehearse!
I snapped a pic of the Arizona delegation sign for my mom.
Grabbed a bit at the Creator’s Lounge with Brooklyn Dad Defiant, and then made our way to our seats - where we would be for the next 6 hours.
The Chicks kicked us off with the National Anthem - which if you’re old enough to remember what happened to them in the early oughts - you know is a huge flex.
Pink!!
The woman of the hour:
Immediately after she was done speaking, I grabbed my media pass and went up to record a hit on the local news. VERTIGO!
And then it was time to hop a plane to San Francisco for a live taping of The Daily Beans with Pete Strzok and DNC speaker (and good friend) Olivia Troye.
Truly an incredible and inspiring week. It was my honor to be there on behalf of the DNCC as a content creator. Can’t wait until 2028 when we re-elect Kamala Harris and Tim Walz!!
"Tardiness"???? OMG! You have NOTHING to apologize for!!!!! These photos are EXTRAORDINARY and joyful and beautiful! They came at the perfect time to uplift us just before the debate (which we're all biting our nails about!). I am SO grateful to you for all you do and just who you are!
It’s nice to be reminded of that energy.
